Day Six, Estevan, SK to Lloydminster, AB
Saw new critters for the first time on this trip- mule deer, coyote, gray partridge, pronghorn antelope, and possibly a moose which refused to get up for a positive identification. We also saw captive bison and elk. Temperature was 5F when we left this morning, 7F when we arrived at the hotel tonight and saw…

Day Five, Jamestown to Canada!

Visited the National Buffalo Museum in Jamestown, ND before hitting the road. It was 7F and windy, but I bundled up. Thanks for the warm hat R, D, and E! Road had icy patches and blowing snow the first several hours. We saw deer (every day so far), grouse, a bald eagle, and 268 pheasants…

Day Four, WI to Jamestown, ND

Day Three IL to Spring Valley, WI

Day One, Luray to Zanesville
The trip has begun! Hearing the truck strain pulling the trailer over the mountains & into a head wind on US Highway 48 was stressful enough that it was hard to truly enjoy the beautiful scenery, majestic windmills and 4 lane road with little traffic. Only 9.5 mpg, yikes. Honestly, the morning wasn’t much fun,…
