Today we drove from Bradford, PA to Luray, VA, arriving home at 4:30. In 15 days of driving we travelled 5,150 miles from Healy, Alaska (18 days total as we took 3 days off along the way). It is splendid to be home with running water, comfy furniture, and 2 laying hens!

Our house sitters did a great job caring for our place. And they left us two hens for the approximate 5 months we are in Virginia.

Back to today’s drive…. I lived in central PA years ago, but I had forgotten how beautiful the mountains are.  We had good pre-peak colors throughout our drive today. I didn’t get any decent photos of those colors. We didn’t make our typical fun stop for the day, we both just wanted to get home!
