Tracks II, Week 5 in Healy

COVID has me worn out, so I was happy to find an photo from a couple weeks ago that I forgot about for a quick post. More raised tracks in the snow in a windy area I frequent on my walks.

Raised footprints, probably moose

Zoomed in a bit

Below is an example of how deep the original tracks would have been. Also see the photos from “Tracks” post on March 24.

  1. Melissa,
I keep telling Martha about your posts and she wants to subscribe, can you add her to your list? martha.wyse@emhs.net. This week she is on a school trip to the Smokies, she took 3 knives because you never know when you might need different types of knives for different projects in the woods. She may have taken more out door gear than clothes, in fact I am sure she did. She belongs in Alaska. By the way I hope you feel better, it might not be so bad to have Covid with the beauty around you…except you probably are so tired it is hard to enjoy. Get better soon.

    1. Sounds like a very interesting school trip! I gave it a shot to subscribe her school address & sent her an email. Hope it works.
