Woke up to a beautiful day! Camera doesn’t do it justice, such as refusing to pick up Mt. Healy behind these trees with the sun reflecting off its snowy peaks.

Cold again, at 8 below as I headed out the door. If it is below zero I wear parka plus ski jacket on top of my 3 indoor layers. If it is zero to 15 above I wear the parka outside. On the fortunate days it is above 15 I only wear the ski jacket.

Thankfully we have only had one morning colder than 20 below, but more often than not April has been below zero when I get up. And most days bring some new snow, from a dusting to over 4 inches.

The low temp read -23.8 once the thermometer thawed out. When I went outside it was -22.
