Temperatures have been mild for the area, but this is the coldest March I have experienced in over 50 years. This morning it was 7F when I got up. Now it is a comfy 33F.

Love this $12 max/min thermometer which we put up the day after we arrived. (Amazon link at bottom of post). We suspect it may have been hit by the sun at some point – not so sure about that 46F. The typical range of temps is what I have seen today.
Snow: 10 out of 13 days have brought additional snow. The forecast indicates that trend will continue. Fortunately we have never had more than 2 inches in one day so the roads and outhouse path aren’t too bad.

I still don’t know what freezing fog is, but it shows up in the forecast occasionally. Wind & Sun each deserve their own post – hopefully I get around to that.
