While we are impressed with how much we have accomplished in less than 24 hours, we are physically spent.  The lane is dug out (thanks Mr. Evan’s, an artist with a loader/plow).  Decent path to outhouse, though we have to use our high boots until we dig more.  Brought the trailer over and parked it.  Plus a hundred smaller tasks, with a thousand left to do another day. We were blessed with remarkably warm weather: 16F when we started working this morning and a high around 40!!!

We shoveled next to the house by hand.  This snow is different than in VA.  Dry and almost sandy (M) or ice crystals (C).  Not fluffy at all, and wouldn’t make a snowball.

Some neighbors walked over, nice to be welcomed!
