We are on the ferry somewhere between Haines and Juneau.  We met some interesting people both in the forward observation lounge while looking at scenery and in the cafeteria getting our supper.  I had delicious sausage and kale soup while C had a bacon cheesebuger, and our total supper, including sides, was less than $20!

Earlier today, we saw several large flocks of Surf Scoters.  They were a mix of adults and young.

When it was dark, we retreated to our cabin as we won’t be able to see whales, and we are both tired.  Tomorrow morning, we will wake up and eat breakfast shortly before reaching Sitka.  This is such an enjoyable way to travel!
