We saw a bull moose trotting through a field in Canada this morning. I wonder if that will be our last moose sighting for the next 6 months…. We also saw 3 whitetail deer this evening and will be seeing a lot more of those!

Long drive today, leaving at 9 am, arriving 10 hours later with few breaks. We knew 7.5 “Google map” driving hours plus the border crossing would test us. Our short fun stop was a nice rest area just off the highway where I saw my first chipmunks in some time. As a planned reward for a long day, we are spending 2 nights in Bemidji to take a break.
