It was snowing in Healy our last morning. The night before we saw the above bull moose in Denali National Park. What an awesome Alaskan summer we have had! Now it is time to meander back to Virginia, by way of Valdez for one last fishing trip.

The mountains were beautiful with their fresh snow, we even had some glimpses of The Mountain, Denali.

We made a couple of stops besides the above overlook. We (mostly C) plugged a tire for a young man with an awkward hole and got him back on the road. We also stopped at Caswell Creek where we saw some zombie chum salmon, lots of fresh bear tracks, and a merganser.

We spent the night at Pioneer Motel in Palmer where we each thoroughly enjoyed the excellent bath tub with very hot water. It is a nice room with both a kitchen sink and a bathroom sink and some sturdy coat hooks for hanging. Wish more hotels had hooks!
