We arrived in Healy on March 17 and plan on leaving September 21, just shy of 27 weeks living in a tiny dry cabin in Alaska. 

We did bring more than we needed.  Both of us have too many clothes and plan to take the surplus back to VA.  Some of the gear can go back as well.  We should return to Alaska next year with a lighter load! We brought exactly the right amount of venison from VA, eating the last pack of burger tonight.

I can now do the dishes without thinking through every step.  If I am day dreaming while I wash I may negligently use 3 cups of water, but usually keep it to 2 cups. I am looking forward to a few months of plumbing this winter, particularly for handwashing!

We will be meandering our way back, heading to Valdez for one last fishing trip before leaving Alaska.
