We have over 19 hours of daylight, less than 5 hours of civil twilight, and ZERO nautical or astronomical twilight. May 20 was the last nautical twilight in Healy for awhile.

It is never dark & is greening up so fast! I can almost see the buds unfurling and leaves growing. The many hours of daylight are supercharging amazing growth.
At night it is easy to lose track of time and hard to fall asleep. I must artificially simulate night. It works reasonably well if I draw most of the black out curtains around 9:15. Close the remainder at 9:45. Then shortly after 10 put on my eye mask to block the remaining light. For roughly 10 minutes my body fights me – “this is ridiculous! it is not time to sleep yet!” But if I refuse to let in the light, blissful sleep follows. If I wake during the “night” I can take off the mask & don’t have any trouble falling back asleep.
