Mileage wise we are halfway. Time wise likely a little over a third of the way. The highlight of the day was seeing bison as we drove through Elk Island National Park. We both saw a Plains buffalo. C also saw some Wood bison, which are larger.
Plenty of highway signs to watch out for deer and moose, but didn’t see anything from the deer family today. We broke our deer sighting streak, sigh.
All Alberta today, Lloydminster -0.2F to Hinton at a relatively toasty 12F. We are staying near the entrance to Jasper National Park, and will visit without the trailer tomorrow. While this is out of the way, we are ready for a break!
