Saw new critters for the first time on this trip- mule deer, coyote, gray partridge, pronghorn antelope, and possibly a moose which refused to get up for a positive identification.   We also saw captive bison and elk.

Temperature was 5F when we left this morning,  7F when we arrived at the hotel tonight and saw a 10F at the high point in between.  Hate to think what the lows and wind chills are.

We started the day 28 miles north of the US border, and ended it 460 miles later just 2 blocks into Alberta.  Two new provinces for C’s life list!
